„Stiftungen helfen! – Engagement für Geflüchtete in
Niedersachsen“<br>
Vor allem ehrenamtliche Helferinnen und Helfer sind es, die in
Niedersachsen anpacken, um Geflüchtete bei der Integration zu
unterstützen. Sie helfen Geflüchteten beim Erlernen der
deutschen Sprache, organisieren interkulturelle Dorffeste oder
stehen bei Behördengängen und Alltagsproblemen unterstützend zur
Seite. Mit einem gemeinsamen Fonds wollen wir, ein Bündnis aus
über 30 niedersächsischen Stiftungen, die Leistung der
Ehrenamtlichen würdigen und sie finanziell entlasten.<br>
Der Fonds richtet sich an Ehrenamtliche in der
Geflüchtetenarbeit, die sich zum Beispiel privat oder in einer
Initiative engagieren. Ob Material für Sprachkurse, Tickets für
einen gemeinsamen Ausflug oder Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen, der
Fonds fördert ehrenamtliche Aktivitäten mit 50 bis 500 Euro.
Nach einem unbürokratischen Antragsverfahren wird in der Regel
innerhalb von 10 Tagen über die Mittelvergabe entschieden.<br>
